About Us

Chris Moody - Tennis Director

With extensive international experience across player development and coach education, Chris is a highly credentialed Club Professional Coach with Tennis Australia. His qualifications include a Certificate IV in Sports Coaching, Level 1 Strength and Conditioning, and Level 1 Sports Power Coach accreditation. He also holds credentials as a Myotherapist and Remedial Massage Therapist and is currently completing a BSc (Hons) in Psychology.

Chris has coached multiple top 10 nationally ranked players and previously worked within the Tennis Australia National Academy in Brisbane — the high-performance training environment where World No. 1's have been developed. His background in elite performance settings strengthens his ability to support athletes across all development stages.

Internationally, Chris has held senior leadership roles including Head of Active for Life (Tennis) at United World College in Singapore and the Head Coach, National Training Squad Futures and Elite Development at the Hong Kong Tennis Association. He has also served as Junior Tennis Director at the Ladies Recreational Club and Tennis Director at Hong Lok Yuen Country Club in Hong Kong.

In Australia, Chris has contributed significantly to coach development as Queensland Coach Development Coordinator for Tennis Australia. He has presented at the Australian Open Grand Slam Coaches Conference and managed the Queensland State Boys 10-and-Under team. Earlier in his career, he combined performance coaching and athlete care at the Pat Cash International Tennis Academy.

With a strong foundation in both technical coaching and athlete wellbeing, Chris offers a holistic, evidence-based approach to player and coach development across grassroots, performance, and elite environments.
