Terms & Conditions

Peak Pursuit Tennis Client Terms

Effective 1 August 2026

Last updated: 1 October 2026

These terms apply when Peak Pursuit Tennis Pte Ltd provides tennis coaching, padel coaching, pickleball coaching, coach mentoring, remote analysis or a related service. They explain how bookings, payments, cancellations, court arrangements and participation are managed. A client must read and accept these terms before the first lesson or service begins.

For a participant under 18, a parent or legal guardian must make or authorise the booking and accept responsibility for payment, relevant information and the arrangements described here. These terms do not waive the participant’s legal rights.

Key booking information

Cancellation notice: At least 24 hours before the scheduled start. Client cancellations within 24 hours and non-attendance are charged in full unless a valid medical certificate covering the lesson date is supplied within 48 hours of the scheduled lesson start. Separate rules apply when Peak Pursuit Tennis cancels a lesson.

Court fees: Separate unless included in the booking confirmation. Any additional charge must be disclosed before booking.

Travel surcharge: S$20 for an agreed non-central location, with its application confirmed before booking.

Payment: Due at or before the lesson unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Coach cancellations and unsafe conditions: Undelivered coaching time will be rescheduled. Weather cancellations do not qualify for cash refunds, except where required by law.

1 Scope and acceptance

A booking is confirmed when Peak Pursuit Tennis accepts the requested time, service and location. These terms and any relevant fee or package conditions will be supplied or linked before acceptance. A specific written arrangement expressly agreed by both parties takes priority where it conflicts with these terms.

The client accepts these terms by confirming a booking or making payment after being given a reasonable opportunity to read them. A person booking for another adult must have authority to arrange the service and must share the applicable terms and safety information with that participant.

2 Coaching services and placement

Coaching is tailored to the participant’s age, experience, goals and developmental readiness. Peak Pursuit Tennis may recommend an initial trial or assessment before confirming a programme or group placement. Junior progression is considered across technical, tactical, physical, cognitive, social and emotional development and is not determined by age alone.

Group, semi-private and Performance Trio participants should have reasonably compatible abilities, goals and availability. Peak Pursuit Tennis may recommend a different format or grouping when this is necessary for safe and effective coaching. Any change affecting the fee will be explained and agreed before it takes effect.

Coaching supports development but does not guarantee a particular performance result, competition outcome, ranking or rate of improvement.

3 Bookings and scheduling

All sessions are by appointment and remain subject to coach availability, court availability and venue approval. A regular weekly time is not guaranteed unless it has been confirmed in writing. Replacement lessons and make-up lessons are offered subject to coach and court availability.

The client should provide accurate information about the participant, preferred programme, location, availability and relevant coaching needs. Peak Pursuit Tennis may refuse or postpone a booking where essential information, payment, court access or safe conditions are not available.

4 Fees and payment

The applicable fee is the fee confirmed when the booking is made. The fee schedule below lists the published service prices. Any compulsory court, venue or travel charge will be disclosed before the client commits to the booking. Fee changes apply to future bookings or packages after notice; the agreed price of an existing booking or package will not change without the client’s agreement.

Coaching packages must be paid in full before the first package lesson or service unless another arrangement has been agreed in writing. Payment instructions are provided directly when the booking is confirmed. The client is responsible for any separately identified court, venue or travel charge. If an amount remains unpaid, Peak Pursuit Tennis may pause future bookings until the account is brought up to date. This does not remove the client’s obligation to pay an amount already due. Peak Pursuit Tennis Pte Ltd is not GST-registered and does not charge GST.

5 Packages

A coaching package is personal to the named client and may not be shared, transferred or resold without written approval. The 10-hour private coaching package is valid for six calendar months from the first lesson. The first lesson must take place within 30 calendar days of purchase. If the client has not started by then, the six-month validity period begins on the 30th day after purchase, unless a different start date is agreed in writing. A delay caused by Peak Pursuit Tennis will not shorten the client’s six-month period.

The validity rules will be supplied before payment, and the start date and expiry date will be confirmed in writing once established. Unused hours expire at the end of the validity period and are non-refundable, subject to the extensions and refund exceptions below. Clients are responsible for arranging their lessons in sufficient time before expiry. This validity rule applies to new packages purchased after these terms have been supplied and accepted; earlier packages retain their original agreed conditions.

Packages are sold at a discounted rate in return for a commitment to the full package. Package fees are non-refundable for a change of mind, loss of interest, holidays, relocation, changes to work or school commitments, or a client’s decision to stop coaching. Illness or injury does not create an automatic right to a cash refund; the medical certificate and make-up provisions in section 7 apply.

This no-refund policy concerns client withdrawal and temporary interruptions. Refund exceptions are set out separately for undelivered time caused by coach lateness in section 7, remote analysis that cannot begin in section 13, and termination or inability to deliver by Peak Pursuit Tennis in section 16. Any refund required by law remains available.

Peak Pursuit Tennis may approve a temporary pause, extension or transfer in writing. These arrangements do not create a right to a cash refund. Medical make-up lessons are governed by section 7.

Cancellation of an individual package lesson with at least 24 hours’ notice preserves that time for rebooking within the agreed package validity; it does not convert the package into a cash refund. Weather interruptions and temporary coach unavailability are handled through rescheduling. They do not entitle the client to a cash refund or cancellation of the whole package, except where required by law.

Time cancelled by Peak Pursuit Tennis will not count as used package time. Where Peak Pursuit Tennis cancels lessons and cannot offer suitable replacements before expiry, the package validity will be extended to allow those lessons to be completed. Medical make-ups follow the deadline and extension rules in section 7. Any other pause or extension requires written approval and must be requested before expiry. Where Peak Pursuit Tennis cannot deliver the remaining services within a reasonable period, section 16 applies.

6 Courts venues and access

Coaching may take place at the client’s condominium court or another agreed venue. Court booking and venue fees are not included in the coaching fee unless confirmed otherwise in writing.

When a client is responsible for the venue, the client must reserve the correct court, confirm that external coaching is permitted, arrange access for the coach and comply with venue rules. Restrictions should be disclosed before booking. The late cancellation policy may apply if the lesson cannot proceed because the client failed to arrange the agreed booking or access. An unexpected venue closure or safety restriction outside the client’s reasonable control will be handled under the unsafe conditions or events outside reasonable control provisions.

Peak Pursuit Tennis may propose another venue when a preferred court is unavailable or external coaching is not permitted. Any additional fee or travel surcharge will be confirmed before the booking is finalised.

Any court or venue cost retained after a cancellation must have been disclosed before booking, actually incurred and non-refundable. Refunded or avoided costs will not be charged. A medical certificate waives the coaching cancellation or non-attendance charge only; these qualifying court costs remain payable. Any separate court fee for a make-up lesson will be confirmed before it is booked.

7 Cancellations and rescheduling

A client must provide at least 24 hours’ notice before the scheduled start to cancel or reschedule a lesson without a coaching charge. Notice must be sent by WhatsApp or email using the contact details below; the message timestamp determines the notice period. With less than 24 hours’ notice, the full agreed lesson fee is payable or the corresponding package time is deducted, subject only to the medical certificate exception below and applicable law. This charge concerns cancellations by the client; cancellations by Peak Pursuit Tennis are covered separately. A lesson will not be both charged separately and deducted from a package. Replacement times depend on coach and court availability.

If a participant does not attend, the lesson is charged in full, subject only to the medical certificate exception below and applicable law. If a participant arrives late, the lesson will normally finish at the scheduled time and the full fee remains payable.

If the coach starts late, the client will be offered the full booked coaching time where feasible, or a proportionate credit or refund for time not delivered.

A valid medical certificate confirming that the participant was medically unfit to take part on the scheduled lesson date is the only exception to the full coaching charge for a client cancellation with less than 24 hours’ notice or non-attendance, except where the law requires otherwise. Personal emergencies, travel, work or school commitments, transport difficulties and forgetting a lesson do not waive the charge.

The client must notify Peak Pursuit Tennis as soon as possible and send the medical certificate by WhatsApp or email within 48 hours of the missed lesson’s scheduled start time. The certificate must cover the lesson date and confirm that the participant was medically unfit to participate; a detailed diagnosis is not required. The certificate must be issued by an identifiable registered medical practitioner and show the participant’s name and the relevant period of medical incapacity. Certificates issued overseas may be accepted where the practitioner’s registration and the certificate’s meaning can reasonably be verified. We may request a translation where needed. Information unrelated to assessing the request may be redacted. Without a valid certificate supplied within that period, the full lesson fee is charged or the corresponding package time is deducted, except where required otherwise by law.

With a valid certificate supplied on time, no coaching cancellation or non-attendance charge applies. Prepaid coaching time is retained for a make-up lesson, with no cash refund except where required by law. Separately disclosed, incurred and non-refundable court or venue costs remain payable under section 6.

Medical make-ups must be completed within 30 days of the missed lesson or before the package expiry date, whichever is later, subject to coach and court availability. If Peak Pursuit Tennis cannot offer a suitable slot within that period, the deadline will be extended in writing to allow the make-up. If the certificate confirms that the participant remains medically unfit beyond that period, the 30-day window begins on the first date after the certified period of incapacity. Any further extension requires written approval. This make-up deadline takes priority over the original package expiry for the affected hours only. Unused make-up time expires after the applicable deadline without a cash refund, except where required by law.

Cancellations with at least 24 hours’ notice follow the ordinary rescheduling policy and do not require a medical certificate. The 30-day medical make-up window does not apply to ordinary rescheduling or weather cancellations. Lessons cancelled by Peak Pursuit Tennis, including for unsafe weather, are governed separately by section 8.

For semi-private, trio and group lessons, each participant’s cancellation is assessed separately. If the lesson continues, an attending participant’s agreed share will not increase without prior agreement. A cancellation with at least 24 hours’ notice will not be charged. Any proposed change of format, price or time must be agreed with the affected clients.

8 Weather illness and unsafe conditions

Peak Pursuit Tennis decides whether a lesson can safely start or continue, taking account of lightning alerts, air quality, rain, surface conditions, heat, venue instructions and other relevant safety considerations at the lesson location.

If Peak Pursuit Tennis cancels or stops a lesson because of rain, lightning, unsafe air quality, unsafe court conditions or other safety concerns, no late cancellation charge applies. Only coaching time actually delivered will be deducted from a package or treated as used. All undelivered prepaid time will be carried forward and rescheduled, subject to coach and court availability. No cash refund applies to weather cancellations, except where required by law. A medical certificate is not required for a weather cancellation made by Peak Pursuit Tennis. Lessons cancelled because of coach illness or temporary coach unavailability will also be rescheduled; persistent inability to deliver is covered by section 16.

Please contact Peak Pursuit Tennis promptly if conditions appear unsafe. The ordinary cancellation policy applies to a personal decision not to attend where the lesson can safely proceed, but a reasonable safety concern, official warning or venue restriction will be assessed fairly before any charge is applied. Participants must not continue an activity that presents an immediate safety risk.

9 Health fitness and safety

The client must disclose relevant information reasonably needed for safe participation, including injuries, medical conditions, allergies and any support or adjustments required. Only information relevant to the service should be provided. A participant should not attend when illness or injury makes participation unsafe and should notify the coach promptly. The medical certificate and make-up arrangements in section 7 apply. Peak Pursuit Tennis may adapt or stop an activity where continued participation appears unsafe.

Participants must follow coaching instructions, use suitable clothing and footwear, bring appropriate hydration and comply with court and venue rules. A participant must not behave in a way that endangers themselves or another person.

In an emergency, Peak Pursuit Tennis may contact the parent, guardian or emergency contact and may seek appropriate emergency assistance. Any urgent decision will be made in good faith with the participant’s immediate welfare in mind.

10 Junior participants

A parent or guardian must provide accurate contact and emergency information and must remain reachable during the lesson. The parent or guardian is responsible for safe arrival and collection. A young child may be required to have a parent or responsible adult remain at or near the court, depending on the programme, venue and child’s needs.

Peak Pursuit Tennis may pause or end a session if a junior participant cannot take part safely or requires care beyond the agreed coaching role. Parents or guardians are responsible for supervision before handover and after collection. If collection is delayed, the coach will contact the parent or emergency contact and take reasonable steps to keep the child safe until a safe handover can be arranged.

11 Conduct and safeguarding

Clients, participants and accompanying persons must treat coaches, other participants, venue staff and members of the public respectfully. Harassment, threats, abusive conduct, deliberate damage or repeated unsafe behaviour may result in the immediate suspension or termination of coaching.

Any safeguarding concern should be reported promptly using the contact details at the end of these terms. Peak Pursuit Tennis may take reasonable steps to protect a participant and may contact an appropriate authority where required or permitted by law.

12 Photography video and coaching analysis

Photographs or video may be used for coaching analysis where the purpose has been explained and appropriate consent obtained. Public or promotional use requires separate, optional consent and is not a condition of receiving coaching. For participants under 18, parental or guardian consent will be sought, and the participant’s wishes will also be respected.

Consent may be withdrawn on reasonable notice using the contact details below. Peak Pursuit Tennis will explain any effect on the requested analysis service and stop the relevant collection, use or disclosure unless otherwise required or authorised by law. For promotional material, this includes removing content from channels under its control within a reasonable period and notifying relevant service providers. Copies already distributed or independently shared by others may not be recoverable; this does not permit continued promotional use by Peak Pursuit Tennis.

13 Remote analysis and mentoring

For remote analysis, the scope, required footage, delivery timeframe and any included follow-up will be agreed before payment. The client must have permission to share the footage, including appropriate consent from identifiable participants. If footage is unsuitable, Peak Pursuit Tennis will explain what replacement is needed. If no suitable material can be provided and no analysis has started, the client may cancel for a refund. Any charge for work already completed must be reasonable and based on the agreed scope. Feedback does not replace an in-person medical, physiotherapy or other professional assessment.

Coach mentoring materials are provided for the individual recipient’s professional development. They may not be recorded, reproduced, resold or distributed without written permission.

14 Personal property and equipment

Participants should take reasonable care of their belongings. Peak Pursuit Tennis is not responsible for loss, theft or damage unless caused or contributed to by its negligence, breach of contract or another matter for which it is legally responsible.

Equipment supplied by Peak Pursuit Tennis must be used as instructed and returned after the session. Where the client is legally responsible for deliberate or reckless damage, any charge will reflect reasonable repair costs or the value of the item, allowing for its age and condition. Normal wear and tear will not be charged.

15 Risk and liability

Racquet sports and physical training involve inherent risks, including slips, falls, collision, heat-related illness and muscular or joint injury. Participants accept the ordinary risks of taking part and remain responsible for following instructions and disclosing information relevant to safe participation.

Peak Pursuit Tennis will provide services with reasonable care and skill and take reasonable steps to manage foreseeable risks. Acknowledging the ordinary risks of sport does not mean accepting negligent coaching or supervision. Responsibility for an incident will depend on its circumstances and applicable law, including any contribution by the participant or a third party.

Nothing in these terms excludes or restricts liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted. These terms do not remove mandatory consumer rights under Singapore law.

16 Suspension and termination

Peak Pursuit Tennis may suspend or terminate coaching for non-payment, repeated late cancellation, unsafe or abusive conduct, a material breach of these terms or an inability to continue providing the agreed service. Where appropriate, the client will receive an explanation and a reasonable opportunity to resolve the issue. Immediate suspension may be necessary to protect safety.

A client may stop coaching at any time, but this does not create a right to a refund of unused package fees. The package refund policy in section 5 and any valid outstanding charges continue to apply. If Peak Pursuit Tennis ends coaching or cannot deliver the remaining prepaid services within a reasonable period, the unused balance will be refunded at the package rate paid, less valid outstanding charges. Where a refund is due under this section, we will process it within 14 calendar days after the refund entitlement and amount have been established. We will notify the client when it has been processed. Any shorter deadline required by law will apply. No amount will be deducted twice.

17 Events outside reasonable control

Where an event outside Peak Pursuit Tennis’s reasonable control prevents it from providing a session, including severe weather, an unexpected venue closure or government restrictions, Peak Pursuit Tennis will notify the client promptly and reschedule the undelivered time without a client cancellation charge. No cash refund applies to temporary weather disruption, except where required by law. If Peak Pursuit Tennis is persistently unable to deliver the service, section 16 applies. Where the lesson remains available but a client cannot attend, section 7 applies. This provision does not remove rights or liabilities under applicable law.

18 Personal data

Personal data is handled in accordance with the Peak Pursuit Tennis Privacy Policy and applicable Singapore law. The client should read the Privacy Policy before providing personal data about themselves or another person.

19 Changes to these terms

Peak Pursuit Tennis may update these terms and will display the revised effective date. New terms apply to future bookings after notice. Existing confirmed bookings and prepaid packages remain subject to the terms agreed at purchase unless the client agrees to a change or a change is required by law. Any legally required change will be explained promptly.

20 Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore. The parties should first try to resolve any concern directly and in good faith. Nothing in these terms prevents either party from exercising a right or remedy available under Singapore law.
